I am thankful for…
Facebook. I’ve used it to meet some friends that I will probably never see in person, keep in touch with relatives, and participate in wonderful communities. (Check out Facebook Things parts 1 and 2.)My runty little dog. She’s goofy and she brings laughter to our house.
My ostomy. Surgery saved my life, and was well worth the trouble.
I am excited about…
My discovery of dark chocolate peanut M&M’s. I can have peanuts now that I have an ostomy and I love dark chocolate, so I think I’m going to keep a stash in my purse now.
Hunting season. I’m not sure if I’ll go out, but I am hoping to eat some great venison!
Pumpkin and peppermint flavored everything. Hooray for seasonal goodies!
I appreciate good food. Can you tell?
I am inspired by…
My friends who have stuck by me even when I feel like I’m terrible company. Some great people have helped me retain some sanity! They try to build my confidence and combat all my anxieties.
Fellow bloggers! Check out my Great Blogs page for a lineup of awesomeness.
The campus ministry staff, a few faculty members, and entire student development staff back at school. I miss them. They want to help me grow and succeed regardless of my illness. Without their support, I would not have been able to attend college at all.
